9/11/2023 0 Comments Dbd dying lightNot gonna lie, OP, I was looking for a single player game. The graphics are phenomenal, the gameplay feels fantastic aside from the little immersion busting shit. This is all I can think of from what I remember (It's been a while) but I do remember still sinking over 35 hours into the game despite the storyline being much shorter than that. The focus is on a dune buggy that drives like a boat on stilts (Think of the HL2 airboat/car except not innovative like it was for its time) All of the quests are just "GO GET ITEM!" which consists of you running to a place, fighting a bunch of zombies, picking up a thing, and going back. The storyline is pretty vacant and shallow. Also, you will be repairing that shitty wrench until you can't anymore because there's nothing else worth picking up anywhere for at least 3 storyline quests. Have a piece of shit baseball bat and you're going against a giant? Expect 10 minutes of dodging and swinging the exact same way. Lots of the battles at lower levels can be frustratingly repetitive if you're not playing the easiest game mode. Ragdolls can interfere with things sometimes. Sometimes geometric clipping fucks their travel paths up) Dodging attacks can feel unpredictable as the NPCs don't always move the way that they are supposed to (the predictable pattern they're programmed to. The combat mechanics can be a bit sloppy at times. Movement can be VERY glitchy at times, which is forgiveable but can be severely frustrating if it causes an unfortunate death in an unfortunate time. Very fun movement system but there are some points that are lacking: Gonna hijack and weigh in my opinion here for more depth.
